Speaking of patterns.
What?
I saw this bud in a garden in Thailand and snapped it for the color and pattern.
Why?
The contrast between light and shadow drew my eye. Contrasts in story, whether between or within characters, tend to draw my attention, too.
And that’s pretty much the purpose of entertainment. 🙂
