Musical Inspirations
I don’t have any more YouTube playlists built up, so we’ll go look at a song I enjoyed recently.
Yeah, you’ll get some more Swampdoodle and Feline-muse artwork from the AI dustbunnies. 😁
I was reading a post the other day by J.C. Chambers III, in which he talked about a dream he had about walking in Japan.
I spent several years working in and around Tokyo in the mid-1990s. I taught English at a lot of bigger conglomerates in that city, so I traveled all over from early in the morning until long after dusk.
So, let’s see what the “dustbunnies” come up with for my four-legged toddlers.

OK. That’s not ba—What the actual f—?
Um, yeah. No. What is it with AIs putting bowties on “tuxedo cats”? 🤨
And, I have no idea what the AI was smoking to generate those signs. 😳
I studied Japanese for two years and spent six years off and on in Japan, and I am not sure what any of those signs mean. 🤦♂️
Anyway, moving on. Tokyo is an incredibly eclectic place, samurai cemeteries, pachinko parlors, foreign bookstores, shinto shrines, fastfood burger restaurants—MosBurger rocked, by the way—and Roppongi.
Roppongi is chock full of bars, ramen joints, foreign cuisine, and the main office for my company. 😉
Not to mention one of the best dim sum restaurants in Japan. 😋
Anyway, this song captures what it felt strolling through that part of town.
IIRC, J. Kenton Pierce shared this group last year on social media, so I can’t claim the credit for sharing this group.
Have an awesome week, all y’all! 👋
