Musical Inspirations
I was watching YouTube and saw that one of my favorite musicians had joined a Sabaton tour. It might have been a Sabaton-inspired orchestral tour, though. I was in the middle of edits then, and my brain was stuck in storyland. 🤷♂️
Anyway, since I love Sabaton and the musician, how about one of my favorite songs by the musician, Patty Gurdy.
I found her on YouTube while searching for musical instruments from the late Middle Ages/Renaissance. It turns out that the hurdy gurdy is that old, sometimes called a symphonia or zafona.
I’ll probably put up a Sabaton song in the future.
Have a great week! 👋

That would be awesome; Sabaton doing an album on the Irish Revolution and The Troubles.
Sabaton is a great metal group; their portrayal of conflict throughout history is unique and educational.
"Over the Hills and Far Away", a different version, maybe, comes to mind from the Sharpe's television series based on Bernard Cornwell's novels.
